This post is about how to stop being angry at the world.
Everyone has a moment in their life where they just look up towards the sky and project their rage at the whole world.
In this post, I’d like to bring your attention to some things that I personally like to remind myself of if I am angry at the world.
I like to think of myself as a former angry person. Well, I still do get angry, but I just deal with it better. It kind of amazes me how I went from raging bull to a well-balanced person emotionally.
Enough about me, here is how to stop being angry at the world.

Life is uncertain
If there is one thing I can completely count on, it is the ability of life to always be uncertain. When I realized this, things just got a whole lot better for me. Before getting angry at the world, remember that things just happen. There is no set of rules for what can and can’t happen to you.
Do your best
Take a moment to pause and answer this question:
What do I want in life?
I think that is the purpose of every life – to go after what they want. Otherwise, what is the point of it all? Most of us are lucky enough to be able to work towards what we truly want.
Forget about your anger and dust yourself off. Try and try again.
Remember what is in your control
This one is my favorite. As an angry person, everything pisses me off.
Why do people do things that get me mad? Why does the world make me angry?
As I grew older, I realized an important thing: The only thing I can control 100% is what I choose to do. That’s literally the only thing that is in my control. Even the results of my actions are not in my control.
Once I realized that, life got a bit calm and quiet. I can’t control anyone. I can’t control what gets served to me in life. All I can control is my actions.
So, there you have it. My take on how to stop being angry at the world. I hope that these mindset shifts will enable you to cool down and stop being angry at the world. Remember that the thing you can control is your actions. That includes your reactions to people. It’s all in your control.
