This is my personal list of study apps that I keep on my phone because they are great for studying.
Using apps to study is the very definition of how to study smart. Apps are designed to make things easier for people in the world. Study apps make things easier for students to study. I love apps that are useful for studying.
These apps are great because they provide study material. But what’s even better is that these apps give you a platform to make studying easier. For example, quizlet helps you to create your own flashcards. (And other secret techniques for studying!)
Let’s keep reading on the list of 6 study apps for students.
Study Apps to Help You Study Better
Memrise
I think a lot of people don’t know about this app. I use it a lot, and it has changed over the years. You can find so many free courses on memrise. You can also create courses based on your own study material. This can even help you to learn more. Because as you know they say teaching things to tohers makes you understand more. You can upload images and audio to support your course.
Quizlet
I think everyone knows that quizlet has all the answers. Some teachers post their quizzes on quizlet! You can find any topic you are looking for on quizlet. This can help you to find exam questions and use them for practice. However, the real purpose of quizlet is to help you make your own flashcards on your phone.
Duolingo
Duolingo is the best app for language students. I took French in high school, and trust me – I was way more advanced than everyone in class because I used Duolingo to learn French. Now I’m learning Spanish but I slacked off. You can imagine how I felt when they sent me an email saying I made Duo (the owl) sad!
Pomodoro apps
I suggest pomodoro apps for students who find time management hard.
Pomodoro technique is a technique for time management where you split your productivity into small chunks of time. For example, you promise to study for 10 minutes straight with no distractions. This is a great way to study.
Downloading a pomodoro app will help you to keep track of the productivity time you choose, whether 10 minutes, or 30 minutes.
Skillshare
I love using Skillshare. I advise students to use it for extra activities like hobbies. As students, we shouldn’t study 24/7. Students should take breaks. That’s why I suggest you find some cool hobbies on skillshare and teach yourself something interesting.
EDX
EDX has free university courses for anyone. Last I checked, they are mostly free. If you are a student and would like to take advantage of getting study material from huge universities, you should sign up for some EDX.
Study Better
Technology is here to make things better for humans. Use study apps to make things easier for you when you study. I hope you can try out some of these apps and then enjoy the benefits of your smart work!!
