Take a second to slow down and take a few deep breaths. Assure yourself of positive thoughts to counter the negative ones. If you can hope for the worst, it’s just the same to hope for the best.

Meditation is a great way to channel your thoughts into the right directions. Ever since I began doing yoga and meditation, I’ve seen a huge difference in the way I handle my emotions. Some people can find it hard to understand how meditation works, but trust me—it does. It helps you to let your mind swirl through the thoughts that tend to occupy you at a time specified by you. You learn to counter any negative thoughts before they come for you at a wrong time.

There are teas that can soothe your anxiety. Examples include chamomile, peppermint and green tea. These teas have certain properties that calm you and help you to focus less on intrusive thoughts.
