1 – Journal
Yep, you need a journal. A journal doesn’t have to be used for studying, but it is really useful for writing down to-do lists, or your game plan. You don’t have to mix up your schoolwork with your organization habits. Write down to-do lists, what you expect from yourself that day, or how you feel.
2 – Notebooks
Don’t be afraid to splurge on notebooks. You need as many as the number of courses or classes you are taking, maybe more. I like to have two notebooks for every course. One is for taking rough notes in class, and the other is for writing cute and pretty notes while studying.
3 – Stickie notes
Every student requires stickie notes. I love to use transparent ones, or the ones that have really cool shapes, like hearts. These are important for writing important facts and sticking them on your notebooks or folders.
4 – Page markers / flags
These are one of my favorite study session essentials. Use them to keep track of important pages. You can also use them to highlight important areas.
5 – Regular pens
You’re going to need lots and lots of pens to last you through all the scribbles and scratches. Always make sure you have 5 pens to carry around everywhere. They can be fancy, or just regular. Use your pens to write notes.
6 – Calligraphy pens
Calligraphy pens can be used by students. They give you an amazing way to create titles and headings. They make your works look really fun and beautiful.
7 – Highlighters
Highlighter are the most important tool for Straight A students. If you don’t have any, you need to get some ASAP. Use highlighters to make important facts pop up when you are studying. it helps you to remember things faster!
8 – Colorful markers
These are the only thing I need to make my study session more colorful and fun. Check out these awesome Mildliner markers, they are an absolute joy to use.
9 – Pencils
Some people graduated to using pens and forgot all about pencils. Pencils are very important for drawings! They are not just for little kids. Pencils are an important study session essential.
10 – Erasers
Just like pencils, erasers are an important component of a good study session. Do you meet people who have only a pen in their study essentials? I mean, some people don’t even have pens and keep asking to borrow yours!
11 – Rulers
A ruler is an essential study component. You need it to make straight edges and for constructing diagrams. There are times when you need a ruler and have to get up and turn your whole room over, just looking for a broken ruler. So keep one handy.
12 – Pencil case
Where will you keep all your study essentials? You can’t just throw them all into your school bag! You need a pencil case to store all your study tools. In fact, you may need more than one.
13 – Pencil holder
Are you going to leave your study tools on the table, left to roll by and fall down whenever the slightest breeze blows by? You need a sturdy pencil holder to keep all your pens, pencils and highlighters upright.
14 – Study lamp
Study lamps are essential for nighttime reading. Keep a study lamp on the standby for when you need some extra light.
15 – Water bottle
A water bottle should be an essential for a long and productive study session. You can’t keep getting up to get water all the time. That would disrupt your flow. What you need is a proper water bottle to keep nearby.
