This is a list of 10 things to do in the morning.
If you are looking for more things to do in the morning, you might find some great ideas in this list.
Remember that life is just the things that we incorporate into our routines daily. Make sure to add in habits that increase your vibration.
Make yourself happy every day. Focus on what you have, not what you don’t have.
I’ve realized that even if I got all the things that I want in my life, my routines would default to the regular stuff. Working out, journaling… they wouldn’t change because I moved into a bigger house or got a car.
This is a list of 10 things I do in the morning. So, yes you have the guarantee that an actual person does them, not just a random list of activities.
10 Things to do in the Morning for a Productive Day
1 . Drink lemon water
This is the first thing I do when I wake up. Fill a mug with warm water and squeeze in half a lemon.
This takes long to drink because it’s a bit sour and scratchy on the throat.
I give myself one hour to look out the window and watch people while I sip on my lemon water.
It’s a great way to begin the day. I try not to drink tea first thing in the morning. Lemon water feels neutral to the palate.
2 . Yoga with chanting
My next activity is usually yoga. I recently discovered a more immersive form of yoga where you chant some phrases.
There are specific phrases you can do, like, Om Shreem Laxmi Mahadevi Namaha, but I prefer to use my own affirmations:
“I am free!”
“I am human!”
Adding these chants just transformed my entire yoga routine.
3 . Workout in the morning
After stretching my limbs, I proceed to workout.
I am currently following a few of Chloe Ting’s youtube workouts.
I love to workout, but I have my limits. I hate ab workouts and stay away from them.
4 . Journal – 10 things to do in the morning
Journaling takes me back to the days when I would write a diary.
Trust me, there is a reason why we wrote in our diaries. It helps to let things out and it is a great way to cope with our feelings.
I recently began a new journal and it has an amazing blue cover. This motivates me to write more in it!
5 . Draw / Paint
I’ve always wanted to do more drawing and painting, but it felt a bit silly to do it every day.
However, when I began to let myself do the things I really wanted to, my mornings got better.
It is not a waste of time to channel your creativity in the morning!
6 . Read
Reading is a great love of mine.
I am currently reading The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. It’s a great spiritual book.
It was recommended by a youtuber and I hope it makes me develop spiritually.
So far I like where it is headed.
7 . Meditate– 10 things to do in the morning
Meditation is something I have adopted over recent years.
The mind is so complex and goes so many places it’s insane. Sometimes I get thoughts that literally could not have come from my own brain or mind. That’s why I think it’s important to do meditation so you can understand yourself more.
8 . Dance – 10 things to do in the morning
I absolutely love to dance.
I’m not good at it, and I used to feel shy to dance. Maybe that’s why I needed it so much.
I would feel awkward to dance alone. That’s crazy! I should be comfortable enough with myself to dance alone!
Dancing rejuvenates me.
I like to sway and twirl to drum beats.
9 . Skin care – 10 things to do in the morning
Skin care is an important part of the morning.
After sweating it out in yoga and exercise, I take a great shower and use all my favorite skin care products.
I have dry skin on my face and I absolutely NEED to moisturize after washing my face, or else I start sneezing. Weird, I know.
10 . Eat – 10 things to do in the morning
Eat, or don’t!
I’m doing intermittent fasting these days, and I love how it has smoothly incorporated into my routine.
I don’t eat any fruits or toast or anything like I used to. I have an early lunch, though.
This helps me to appreciate my food more.
I hope this list of 10 things to do in the morning inspires you to try some out. Please share some of your favorite things to do in the morning!

Hmmmm…sounds good but so unrealistic for me. Life seems too easy and free from responsibility there. I have a load of things to do everyday that it seems I don’t even have the time to do a to-do list. Journlizing seems like a wishful thinking.
