This post is about how to deal with coronavirus anxiety.
Here are 9 ways to help you deal with corona virus anxiety.
BE SAFE
The first step to dealing with coronavirus anxiety is to be safe. You have to make sure you are doing all the things necessary to protect yourself. Follow the safety guidelines at all times. Make sure you keep track that you did things like washing your hands and sanitizing your work areas, so that you don’t get the idea that you have to do it over and over again.
CORONAVIRUS ANXIETY: RATIONALIZE
Rationalize with yourself in order to deal with coronavirus anxiety.
Anxiety needs to be talked to. Talk to your thoughts inside your head like you are a calm and patient mother. Or nurse. Or kindergarten teacher. Rationalize with that anxious and worried thought inside your head. Tell yourself that you will be okay.
TAKE DEEP BREATHS
The number one step for when you get anxiety about coronavirus is to take a few deep breaths. Be sure to breathe in down through the front of your body, and out up your back. This is a good breathing technique. Take pauses between breathing in and out. Taking deep breaths is a sure-fire method to help you to calm down. It increases blood flow your brain and calms your nervous system down.
ESTABLISH ROUTINES
In this pandemic time, it is a good idea to establish routines that will help you to remain calm. The best way to make sure your routine is successful is to make sure you stick to the first few habits. For example, my first habit of the day during coronavirus time is to wake up and do some yoga. I know that if I succeed at that, my daily routine will fall into place.
PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Today I started my day feeling really anxious of coronavirus. However, a friend reminded me to be grateful for my body and all the good things in my life. I wrote a letter about my body and all the things that were going great for me. It changed the trajectory of my day. I felt much better.

CORONAVIRUS ANXIETY: JOURNAL
Journaling helps me to deal with coronavirus anxiety
In the same breath as the point above, be sure to write down your thoughts and feelings. I start every day with writing down all the good things that I have in my life. I also write down how I want my day to go. I also love to track all my habits. This is an activity I started recently that helps me stay productive. I take time to write down all the activities I do in a day.

MEDITATE
Meditation is important, even though a lot of people ignore it. My best way to do meditate is to follow along to guided meditation. YouTube has hundreds of videos on guided meditation. I created a post on all my favorite guided meditation videos that you can read and choose from.

BE POSITIVE
Being positive is going to help you to deal with coronavirus anxiety.
Our thoughts are what create our moods. If we think lovely flowery thoughts, our mood is going to be sunny and bright. If all you think about is coronavirus, your entire day is going to be flavored with anxiety. I know how hard thinking positive is, but you can start by replacing every negative thought with its positive counterpart.
